Calvià
Over the last 50 years, Calvia has become one of the richest municipalities in Spain and Europe.
From the 2600 farmers and fishermen living in Calviá in the 1960’s there are more than 170000 inhabitants now, spread over the different burrows of Calvià. Illetes, Torrenova, Portal Nous, El Toro, Magaluf, Palmanova… just to name a few, are house hold names all over Europe as they receive more than a million holiday makers a year. Royalty, Rich and Famous, Yacht Owners with grand villas with amazing sea views as well as the regular Joe enjoying an “All Inclusive Five Star Resorts” on the shores of Calvià all have the same love for this magnificent region.

All of us, who live in Calvià, are blessed with the Mediterranean climate, and also with the excellent infrastructure at our disposal.
On the other hand, we are also required to pay taxes to maintain this infrastructure. In the Posts below, you can find the official websites from Calvià. One can find all information the council wants to share online with the residents, there.
